I would suggest this idea: I often needed to experiment the filters and compare the results. It would be cool, if there is a possibility to create "environments" like: You switch to test environment and test the filter configuration and compare it with another environment so I dont have to duplicate the file and copy the layers if the test result is better than the another one.
